Parts of the Face

For foreigners who wish to learn the Filipino language, this is for you.
We begin with the different parts of the head (Iba't ibang bahagi ng ulo).


hair = buhok  (bu-hok)

temple = sentido (sen-ti-do)

ear = tainga; tenga (ta-i-nga) (te-nga)

earlobe = kapingulan  (ka-pi-ngu-lan)

cheek = pisngi (pis-ngi)

mouth = bibig; bunganga (bi-big) (bu-nga-nga)

lip = labi (la-bi)

forehead = noo (no-o)

eyebrow = kilay (ki-lay)

eyelash = pilikmata (pi-lik-ma-ta)

eye = mata; paningin (ma-ta) (pa-ni-ngin)

nose = ilong (i-long)

nostril = butas ng ilong (bu-tas ; ng; i-long)

jaw = panga (pa-nga)

chin = baba (ba-ba)
